Have always loved that one !
Incidentally, I hear it's 16(sixty)9 Brady - just a detail and thus possibly half a mile further down the block...

Ah, a great track. There is a reference to 139 Brady Street in the song so I went off to Google maps to see if it was still there. Sadly there appears to be no trace of Brady street in Detroit anymore. The only reference I can find to it is that there was an old baseball ground (now long gone) which had brady as one of it boundaries. The former site of the ground is overlooked by a hospital which I did find, but there is no trace of a Brady Street near it - I think it is under a freeway.

I wonder what did go on at 139 Brady.

(As a side note, it is quite fun looking for blues places in Google maps : Here's where the southern cross the dog http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Moorhead,+Mississippi+38761&spn=0.078757,0.189171&t=k&hl=en

You can zoom in closer if you use local.live
