Singer Edith North Johnson, piano Henry Brown, trombone Ike Rogers. Henry and Ike were a great combination and this one of their best. Edith was wife of St Louis record producer Jesse Johnson and recorded just 18 tracks 1928-9 (plus some tracks with Henry in 1961). You're right to say she's minor, but boy she had voice and attitude. Not to mention a good chib... (that's a shiv guys) One of my favourite blues and I thank you for the mp3 as I don’t have a copy at the moment!
