I think Will Batts is the fiddler on those cuts, and Dan Sane on the flat-picked backup guitar. Jack Kelly and His South Memphis Jug Band has such a deep, heavy sound. They tended to re-use a couple of musical themes: the "61 Highway" theme and the "Red Ripe Tomatoes" theme. Diamond Buyer more or less fits into the latter. As musicians, the band brings so much to the table that even when they're 'recycling', there's something interesting to listen to.

Great song and a great band!
