I enjoyed reading about Porter Wagner and Dolly Parton. I am not familiar with Mr. Porter but my father told me that Porter Wagner a young, shy teenager moved him and his family when he was little in a Dr.Pepper van from a plant run by my great-grandfather. Mr. Porter worked for him and they used the van to move from Aurora, MO to West Plains, MO. Just a neat bit of history that I heard while making a heritage album for my son.
