His last three or four works have all been so bad and below his talent level, so bad in fact I wasn't even surprised when Wendy, who should have fired so long ago waltzed into the final three despite the fact that all the judges just hate her. And doesn't everyone hate Wendy by now?

Today's track is one of those unknown blues stories that a both love and hate. Boy Green recorded two tracks, and both are very stellar. A and B Blues is my favorite of the both, and it features Green's wonderful Piedmont blues guitar and great vocals. These tracks were recorded very late in the pre-war period (1944) and his voice sounds like he's and older man making his late recording even stranger. Bruce Bastin mentions Green in passing in his book Red River Blues, but just that he was a good guitar player and appeared and disappeared in the same breath. Anyway, if you like this track I can post his other track over the weekend.
