I have some confidence that Kerry will pull it out in a manner that not even the squad of lawyers and judges can take it away, but we will see. It is going to be a long evening.
I was going to post an overtly political track today, but whatever. This track is by three blues legends, Big Bill Broonzy, Memphis Slim and Sonny Boy Williamson. I had posted a track from this live session a few months ago, but it was only Memphis Slim and Sonny Boy Williamson. The session was recorded in 1947 in New York City, by Alan Lomax. The live setting allows for the players to play off each other more and flesh out the blues song in a manner that's much livelier than the pre and post war studio recordings. Memphis Slim sings on this track and it's a foot stomper.
